  1. Heart of Texas Hybrid 2000 had a very unique soft cotton pouch that encases and lifts the penis and testicles. An elasticized horizontal fly at the top of the pouch permits easy access to the "contents."
  2. HOM Sports supporter from France — 1998 World Cup Champions!
  3. Swimwear manufacturer Jantzen produced this jockstrap in the 1960s. They also manufactured a line of men's swimming trunks with a jockstrap sewn into the inside.
  4. Johnson & Johnson Coach jockstrap with 3" waistband from the late 1940s or early 1950s. The pouch is "all-webbing elastic for maximum support and protection." VIEW BOX
  5. Johnson & Johnson Coach Rugby 510 supporter with 6" waistband. This one has a pouch of the same heavy material as the waistband.
  6. The V-front construction of this early 1940s Johnson & Johnson Junior Varsity supporter was designed to "lift the pouch and keep the support centered." VIEW BOX
  7. A 1940-era Johnson & Johnson Rugby V-front wide-band supporter. Rugby wide-band supporters were worn by United States Army Paratroopers during World War II. VIEW BOX
  8. This vintage Rugby V-front's 6" waistband is designed with V-Front which provides an upward and inward lift for the abdomen and "vital zone." VIEW BOX
  9. A 1940s Johnson & Johnson Swimmer with one blue tracer line around the waistband. The box came with a free 29¢ travel size Johnson's Medicated powder. VIEW BOX

  11. This Johnson & Johnson Trump jockstrap is almost identical to the one I found hanging on the locker room door in junior high school. VIEW BOX

  13. An older Trump V-front all-elastic supporter with "Permoflex."
  14. Johnson & Johnson Tuxedo V-front athletic supporter from the early 1940s.
  15. A very rare 1940s Johnson & Johnson Varsity Permoflex supporter with a 5" perforated panel above the pouch. The leg straps attach to the bottom of the panel instead of to the waistband as on traditional jockstraps.
  16. Jolt Cola used this jockstrap for advertising purposes. Wear one of these on your next trip to the gym ... and give the other guys a Jolt!
  17. The original K-Mart cotton athletic supporter from the 1970s. VIEW BOX
  18. Keystone jockstrap made in 1946 for U.S. military paratroopers by the Keystone Coat & Apron Mfg. Corp., Philadelphia, PA. It was packaged in a printed brown paper bag. VIEW PACKAGING
  19. Cream-colored LeJacques jockstrap with covered elastic waistband and legstraps.
  20. The Le Jock jockstrap from LedSed Ltd., Bowie, MD, has a sheepskin-lined pouch.
  21. The Litesome standard supporter from I.S.C. Ltd. Sportswear of England offers extremely comfortable support for all active sports. As the box says, "Many national champions choose it to protect their most vulnerable areas." VIEW BOX
  22. Another Litesome standard model supporter from "John Hurtley & Son Ltd., Keighley, Eng." Very subtle advertising at the bottom of the waistband label says, "Wash with Lux!" VIEW BOX
  23. Royal blue Litesome standard supporter from the UK. The more I wear Litesome supporters, the more I like the feel of them. The label on this one says, "Machine wash with Ariel Automatic.".
  24. Litesome Nylon supporter from 1970s England with one green tracer line around the waistband. This jockstrap was designed for swimmers and is not nearly as comfortable as Litesome's cotton jockstraps.
  25. This wideband Litesome Mayfair is from years long past. Made by "John Hurtley & Son Ltd., Keighley, Eng.," the waistband adjusts in the back with cloth tapes.
  26. Longdon's Action Cush'n supporter is made in Canada. Although it's made of 80% polyester, 10% Rayon and 10% rubber, it's extremely comfortable and is designed to offer maximum support.
  27. The English Lonsdale is one of only two or three jocks in my collection that actually refers to itself as a "Jock Strap" on the box. The other is the Bike No. 7110 shown on Collection 1. VIEW BOX
  28. LP Supporter has an interesting woven pouch and 3" elastic waistband.
  29. MacGregor swimming/jogging jockstrap with blue/grey/orange tracer lines around a 1¼" waistband.
  30. Compare this MacGregor cotton jockstrap with its three red tracer lines to the Bike No. 10 shown on Collection 1. These were made by Bike under the MacGregor name and sold by K-Mart stores.
  31. This is my oldest MacGregor supporter from the early 1960s.
  32. The MacGregor Gold Smith regular-band jockstrap.
  33. This MacGregor supporter is from the 1970s.
  34. The Mafra supporter was made by Proorto, S.L., Barcelona, Spain. It has a reinforced perforated pouch, tubular understraps and an adjustable Velcro waistband.
  35. Male-Aid incontinent supporter from "Murray Salk, Inc., Boston 34, Mass., Established 1937." This jockstrap was "hygienically recommended for men and boys to protect clothing and bedding from wetting due to temporary or minor incontinency." It has a snap-off pouch lined with "Olefin .. the new miracle-dry fabric." VIEW BOX
  36. Markwort wideband abdominal supporter with snap-off pouch. The pouch has a vertical fly for added convenience.
  37. The 1920s Marpage athletic supporter with "rip proof" pouch from Martin Bros., Middlesboro, KY. VIEW BOX
  38. MAX by JBI, Inc. is an American-made jockstrap of 74% Coolmax polyester, 15% nylon and 11% Lycra spandex. It has covered legstraps and a covered elastic waistband.
  39. McDavid athletic supporter with thermal-weave pouch and black and green stripes on the waistband.
  40. McDavid narrow-band, swimmer-style jockstrap
  41. This MediSport athletic supporter from Medisport International, Petersfield, England. A comfortable lightweight breathable pouch with firm elasticated waistband and leg straps. VIEW BOX
  42. Another jockstrap from England is the Meditex support which is similar in style and feel to the Litesome and most of my other British-made supporters. This one is made of "83% cotton, 9% elastadine and 8% viscose."
  43. Mirrekord "soporte faja angosta" regular band adult supporter with a sturdy 3" elastic waistband and rib-knit pouch. The waistband has red and black tracer lines. From Laboratorios LeRoy s.a.de c.v., Mexico. VIEW BOX
  44. This extremely rare Mizpah from the 1930s was made for Bieedhatch Sporting Goods, Spokane, WA and is one of the older jockstraps in my collection.
  45. Montgomery Ward sold the Hawthorne athletic supporter through their mail order catalog and through local Montgomery Ward stores in the 1960s.
  46. Mueller Sport Care pro-style athletic supporter. A high quality, top choice supporter for both professional and amateur athletes features a 3" waistband and full-cut knitted mesh pouch.
  47. This Model A333 Nationman Athletic Supporter from Thailand features a pouch made of the same heavy elastic material that is used for the waistband and leg straps. VIEW BOX
  48. The Olympia No. 11 supporter from 1970s Canada.
  49. Omtex athletic supporter from India has a 3" surgical elastic waistband with black tracer lines. Elastic in the sides of an extremely soft, two-ply pouch assures a comfortable fit.
  50. Owenby Mfg. Co. V-front supporter with black stitching on waistband.
  51. The Canadian PB Jock has a narrower 2" waistband with black and gray tracer lines and a soft cotton pouch.
  52. Swedish PiPeer Swim-Action Athletic Brief from Piper Brace offers vital protection and comforting support for the active man. This jock of quick-drying nylon and spandex is for the man who wants comforting support for swimming, golf, bowling or tennis. VIEW BOX
  53. Rare Y-front jock from Piper Brace. The Y-front serves two purposes ... it gives extra support to the pouch and it allows the jock to be worn similar to a suspensory with the pouch supporting only the testicles.
  54. Another Piper Brace jockstrap, this one with a plain waistband, is made in Sweden for Piper Brace Sales Corp., Kansas City, MO.
  55. Polo Sport athletic supporter by Ralph Lauren. Mesh support pouch and signature logo patch on the waistband. Bands contain covered rubber for comfort and support.
  56. This is the Portia athletic support from England.
  57. The Pro-One model PR-162A athletic supporter from Global Sports, Ltd., Cleveland, OH. The heavier surgical elastic pouch is similar to those on jockstraps of the 1950s and 1960s!
  58. ProSport elasticated supporter from Seton Healthcare Group, England. The leg bands on this supporter come up through the pouch and attach to the front of the waistband. An unusual but very comfortable supporter.
  59. The Canadian-made Protex jockstrap has a very interesting front. The pouch is shorter than normal and is separated from the waistband by a separate piece of waistband material to which the legstraps are attached. The waistband has black and red tracer lines.
  60. A 1940s Protex supporter from Guelph Elastic, Guelph, Ontario, Canada. This supporter has a perforated front panel and surgical elastic pouch.
  61. Another interesting Protex hockey jock made in Canada by Guelph Elastic. This model is from the 1950s.
  62. Royal Textile Mills in Yanceyville, NC made the Pro Duke adult athletic supporter. The pouch contained Biokryl which killed "a broad spectrum of bacteria including those associated with jock itch." VIEW BOX
