Here's an older Bike No.
55 men's cotton cup supporter unit with the familiar "Bike Wheel" logo
and three red tracer lines around a 3" elastic waistband. The snap-open pouch
holds a rubber-cushioned, hi-impact plastic cup. The same supporter was sold
as the Bike No. 53 without the cup.

Canadian-made Club athletic
supporter is from Surgical Elastic Co. Ltd., Winnipeg, Manitoba. The cup
is held into the heavy canvas pouch with tie strings and the pouch is lined
with soft flannel. |

D&M No. 700 cup
supporter from Japan. The 4" heavy elastic waistband has two dark blue tracer
lines. The yellow plastic cup is secured into the pouch with two snap fasteners
at the top. |

Duke adult standard
cup supporter unit is from Royal Textile Mills, Inc., Yanceyville, NC. To
give you an idea of the amount of polyester used in todays jocks, this one
is nearly 95% polyester. |

Flaherty's "Bub" Duribilknit
No. 641 cup supporter from the mid-1950s. This cup is equivalent to the No.
61 regular jockstrap shown in The Collection 2. |

a 1983 model 007383 Futuro supporter.

purpose jock strap is from Great Britain and gives excellent protection for
a variety of sports. The 3" elastic waistband is of heavy surgical elastic
for durability. |

Kookaburra gent's athletic
support is 85% cotton. It contains a very interesting note on the waistband
label: "Keep Away from Fire!" |
